In the past, a diseased or damaged tooth was removed. Modern dental techniques allow the saving of teeth even when they are very badly damaged.
The most common method is canal treatment referred to in dental terminology as endodontic treatment, which involves removing the infected tooth tissue – the pulp – and replacing it with a filling material. The canal treatment is usually performed in our center in one visit, sometimes in two., This saves you time and avoids unnecessary stress. After the treatment is completed, we take an X-ray photograph that allows us to assess the correctness of the canal filling.
Our facility offers the possibility of working with other doctors on a „Practice limited to endodontics” basis. The treating doctor can send a patient for canal treatment under the microscope to our specialist (the entire treatment, removal of the instrument, removal of the inlay, repair of perforations, etc.), and after the procedure specified in the referral, we refer the patient to the treating doctor for the completion of conservative, prosthetic, or surgical treatment.

MICROSCOPIC EXAMINATION
In our offices we have state-of-the-art surgical microscopes and surgical loupes that allow for the magnification of the image up to 22 times. Under the microscope and surgical loupes, the specialist doctor can see the entire tooth chamber and its canals exactly, which allows him to thoroughly examine and clean them. These actions reduce the risk of complications. The dentist is able to save teeth that cannot be treated with traditional methods, such as curved canals.
Dental microscopes and surgical loupes facilitate the treatment of canals with a difficult anatomical structure, such as those with a high degree of curvature or those that diverge deeply at the tip. The use of a dental microscope and surgical loupes also makes it possible to remove broken canal instruments, which constitute a serious obstacle during treatment. All procedures using a dental microscope and surgical loupes are performed by a highly skilled dental specialist.
